Tettigonia Lat. “Tettigonia“
Tettigonia is a genus of insect described by Linnaeus in 1758, belonging to the family Tettigoniidae, subfamily Tettigoniinae. The Latin name Tettigonia derives from the Greek τεττιξ, meaning cicada.
