Bishop's Mitre Shield Bug: species of family “Stink Bugs“

Aelia acuminata is a species of shield bugs found in Europe, North Africa, and Northern Asia. They live in dry meadows and cereal fields, especially in the Alps up to 1300 meters above sea level. These bugs are 5-9 millimeters long, with a light brown body and darker longitudinal stripes. They go through five nymphal stages and overwinter in litter or thickets. Aelia acuminata is herbivorous, feeding on various grasses and causing damage in cereal fields.
